Resolution considerations
The resolution of the output image depends on the resolution of the original PDF's embedded content. Vector graphics in PDFs (produced by most scientific software) can be rendered at any resolution — this tool renders at screen resolution by default, which may not be sufficient for print. For publication-quality figure extraction, export directly from the original software (GraphPad Prism, R, Python matplotlib) at the required resolution.
